About
In today's world, maintaining a Biblical lifestyle is increasingly difficult. Absolute truth is nearly forgotten, replaced by the modern environment's constant search for cultural relevancy. To believe in absolute, Biblical truth is described as "closed minded" and "intolerant". Individuals each seek out their own "truths" -- to each his own. Further, the Bible is portrayed as an irrelevant story-book, not applicable to current lifestyles.
This is exactly what Biblically Driven aims to discuss: applying absolute, Biblical truths to every aspect of our daily lives, decisions, and mindsets. Although the Bible's text may have been written during a much different time, I firmly believe that it will forever hold complete authority, regardless of the society or environment.
About the Author
I was raised in the Lutheran Church (LCMS), but do not necessarily identify myself with a specific denomination of Christianity. First and foremost, I am a Christ follower and a member of the Church. I believe the Bible is the true, timeless Word of God.
Do I have formal education from a seminary or a full-time career in Ministry? Not exactly. I have my bachelors and masters degrees in Computer Science and am a lead software engineer for a Fortune 100 corporation. However, I see this as an advantage! I am not reliant on any teachings or ideals specific to an individual denomination or group. I strive to find answers to current issues and modern needs solely in the Word.
God Bless!
